An olfactory interpretation of the novel The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton forms the basis of this composition from the Stories Collection. The opening is a multi-faceted interplay of spicy cinnamon leaves, saffron and organic ginger, complemented by cardamom and clove buds. As the fragrance progresses, the central note of rose combines with Sambac jasmine, while accords of leather and honey lend a subtle depth. This eau de parfum is characterised by a balance between transparent freshness and warm, woody nuances. The fragrance experience is rounded off by a smoky base of tobacco, Chinese cedarwood and Siamese benzoin, which can evoke associations with coffee and the warmth of a fireplace.
