In 2020, the French label Montale launched the eau de parfum spray Aoud Dark Vanilla. The leathery, spicy fragrance is unisex and has above-average longevity and sillage. The shape of the violet-black bottle is typical of the label, while the rather short list of different accords is atypical. Without a fragrance pyramid, label founder and perfumer Pierre Montale mixes the flavours of leather, oud, vanilla, sandalwood, amber and spices.
