Tips for using the candles:
Never leave the scented candles burning unattended and avoid the vicinity of flammable materials such as paper. After you have lit the candle for the first time, you should leave it to burn until only liquid wax is visible on the top. You can shorten the wick regularly to approx. 0.5 cm to maximise the burning time. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
