The Yankee Candle Christmas Eve wax melt delights with a traditional Christmas fragrance that sweetens the Advent season and Christmas Eve. The fragrance wax opens with aromas of almond, orange, lemon and lime before moving into a heart of nutmeg, cinnamon and sugar. The Christmassy fragrance is completed by a warm base of vanilla, praline, amber and violet notes. The scented wax is made from high-quality paraffin wax, which is mixed with 7% scented oil throughout. When heated in the fragrance lamp, the wax melts and gives the living room a festive Christmas scent for up to 8 hours.

The scented wax has been specially made for use with the Yankee Candle Scenterpiece, but can be used with any fragrance lamp that has a sufficiently deep bowl. A tea light is lit in the lower part of the fragrance lamp, which quickly melts the wax. To ensure that the fragrance of the wax melt is not distorted, you should only use the fragrance lamp with a unscented tea light. As with scented candles, you should not leave the wax fragrance lamp burning unattended for safety reasons.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
