The idea for Baoab scented candles was once born in Tanzania, a country full of intense colours, aromatic scents and impressive landscapes. Inspired by the exotic flora and fauna, Valerie Bietlot designed the first Baobab room fragrances. Today, the range comprises 11 individual collections, all of which pay homage to the scents and colours of Africa. This includes the Encre de Chine scented candle, a key component of the Les Prestigieuses collection, which is a particularly exclusive and elegant scented candle with a warm, woody fragrance.

Please note that you should adhere to the following for Baobab scented candles in order to enjoy them for a long time: The wicks should be shortened to one centimetre before each burning process. The first burning process should take place until the entire surface is liquid. This prevents holes from burning into the wax. The actual burning time of the candle always depends on the size and colour of the candle. If your candle produces dark smoke, the wicks are too long. Extinguish the candle and shorten the wicks. This is because fire can also develop on the glass if there is too much soot in the glass. Straighten the wicks after each burning process so that they are not embedded in the wax. Do not let your Babaob candle burn all the way to the bottom, because at some point the wicks will no longer have any grip on the completely liquid wax. And if you end up burning the flame on the glass, the glass may shatter as a result.
