Ouai Hairstyling

The Ouai Wave Spray is a texturising spray that gives hair an effortless, wavy texture inspired by a day at the beach. The salt-free formulation is designed to emphasise the hair's natural movement, adding body and volume without weighing it down. Enriched with ingredients such as Upcycled Jackfruit and Vitamin B5, it leaves hair feeling soft and smooth. The spray can help to counteract frizz and provides a defined finish that doesn't feel sticky or stiff. It can be used on both damp and dry hair. The styling experience is rounded off with the North Bondi fragrance, a composition of bergamot, rose de mai and white musk.

Straight hair - wet to dry (without/with heat)
1. shake WAVE SPRAY well.
2 Spray onto clean, wet hair from a distance of approx. 15-20 cm from roots to ends.
3 Scrunch, press or twist in strands to create texture
4. air dry for a soft, tousled texture with natural movement

Pro tip:
For defined texture, twist or braid damp hair, secure ends and air dry.
Blow-dry with a diffuser to create extra volume and movement.
Blow-dry in sections with a round brush for a texturised, voluminous finish.

Straight hair - dry styling (with heat)
1. start with dry, well detangled hair and apply heat protection.
2. section the hair according to the desired wave pattern:
- Small sections = tighter waves
- Large sections = soft beach waves
3. style with a curling iron, waving iron or straightening iron - alternating in different directions for a natural look.
4 Shake WAVE SPRAY and spray from roots to ends.
5. scrunch with your hands to intensify the texture.
Pro tip:
Apply a little WAVE SPRAY to the hands and finger-comb the curls for a soft, undone finish.

Wavy hair - wet to dry (without/with heat)
1. start with clean, wet hair.
2. Apply 1-2 pumps of AIR DRY FOAM and scrunch or twist into the hair.
3. shake WAVE SPRAY and spray evenly from a distance of approx. 15-20 cm.
4 Scrunch until natural waves form. Use more spray if necessary.
Tip:
Twist or braid damp hair, secure the ends and leave to air dry - for defined waves.
Alternatively, dry with a diffuser for more volume and texture.

Wavy hair - dry styling (with heat)
1. detangle hair and apply heat protection.
2. style with a curling iron or straightener - different strand sizes for a natural effect.
3. shake WAVE SPRAY, spray on from a distance of 15-20 cm and scrunch or press in with your hands.

Curly hair - wet to dry (without/with heat)
1. condition and style as usual - e.g. with CURL CRÉME.
2 Shake WAVE SPRAY and spray on from a distance of approx. 15-20 cm.
3 Scrunch the curls into shape.
4. dry with the diffuser - head upside down for more volume.
Professional tip:
For more volume, spray only the roots with WAVE SPRAY.
