The Wella EIMI Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray reliably protects your hair from damage caused by the use of hot appliances such as straightening irons, curling tongs or hair dryers. The protective effect is based on two phases: the first phase forms an invisible film over the hair fibre, effectively protecting it from drying out. The second phase smooths and softens the hair fibre, repairing minor damage and smoothing out structural irregularities.

Optimal hold without making the hair sticky

Wella’s EIMI Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray protects your hair from heat of up to 220°C and provides medium hold (hold level 2 of 4). The style created by straightening or blow-drying is fixed without sticking or stiffening the hair. The development of frizz due to high humidity is effectively prevented and the hair is given a healthy shine. The bottle should be shaken well before use to ensure that the two phases combine optimally. Spray the heat protection spray onto dry hair in sections, after which it can be straightened or styled as desired.

Various manufacturers offer hairsprays for practically every hair need and styling project - from intensive moisturising to fixing. Despite the many types of hairspray, there are only minimal differences in application. To distribute the hairspray evenly over the hair, you should spray from a distance of around 30 cm. Keep the spray can in motion. This will prevent individual sections of hair from getting too much of the spray. You should use the spray sparingly and re-spray if necessary. Depending on the spray you have chosen, it may be necessary after spraying to mould the hair according to your wishes or lift the roots, for example.
