Paco Rabanne launched the Eau de Toilette Spray Black XS in 2005. The fragrance is fruity and woody with sweet notes and was created for men. This is also reflected in the original bottle, which is black at the top and clear at the bottom after a colour gradient. The design of the bottle was revised in 2018 and is now completely black with white lettering. Two bottles, but the fragrance inside is unchanged. After all, the eau de toilette spray has been delighting men for more than a decade. Paco Rabanne therefore decided to leave the popular Black XS exactly as it was and is.
Masculine yes, but no masculine excess
The top note consists of marigold, sage, lemons and calamondo oranges. The heart note features the flavours of cinnamon, cardamom, tolu balsam and praline. Finally, amber, patchouli, ebony and rosewood elegantly round off the fragrance. Paco Rabanne wants to challenge the male world with the Eau de Toilette Spray Black XS - and he has succeeded. After all, many men are reluctant to try a fragrance with a distinctly sweet note.
