The Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment from Redken is a concentrated pre-treatment that is designed as the first step of the corresponding system care. It was specially developed for the needs of damaged hair and prepares it for subsequent cleansing with shampoo and conditioner. The sulphate-free formula is characterised by its high concentration of citric acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid. This ingredient can help to strengthen the hair structure and contribute to a balanced pH value of the hair, creating an ideal basis for the rest of the routine. The treatment is suitable for all hair types, including coloured or chemically treated hair, and does not affect the hair colour. To use, the product is applied to damp hair, where it remains for 5 to 10 minutes before being carefully rinsed out. The vegan formula is also produced in a factory powered by renewable energy.
