With chemical hair treatments such as bleaching, lightening or colouring, maintaining the hair structure is a key concern. Schwarzkopf Professional Fibreplex Bond Booster No.1 acts as a specialised additive that is mixed directly into the respective colour or bleaching mass. At the core of the formulation is the advanced Fibre Bond Technology. This is designed to cross-link with the hair fibres, allowing structural fibre bonds to be strengthened during the chemical process. Fibre Bond 4.5 technology is also used, which can support the formation of new bonds and balance the pH value. Handling integrates seamlessly into existing processes as the product is compatible with all professional colouring systems. Neither the usual application time nor neutralisation need to be adjusted by adding the product. Ingredients such as maleic acid and various amino acids complete the composition. The mixing ratio varies depending on the procedure, with around 6 ml of booster per 30 g of bleaching powder being used for bleaching, for example.
