The liquid soap from The Handmade Soap Company is characterised by an earthy yet subtly spicy fragrance composition. A single press of the black pump cap is enough to create a rich and soft lather for the hands. Clear aromas of bitter orange and pink pepper unfold in the top note, which then gently fade into a heart of cardamom and geranium. The complex olfactory profile is rounded off with a warm base of cedar wood and hay, which gives the wash a down-to-earth character. Traditionally made in Ireland, natural essential oils such as bergamot and cedar bark oil are used in the production process. The addition of parabens, SLS, petrochemicals and synthetic substances is consistently avoided during development. The vegan formulation is based on certified ingredients of natural origin and does not involve animal testing. The packaging also reflects an awareness of resources, as the cylindrical 250 ml bottle is made entirely from recycled plastic.
