The Ordinary's Salicylic Acid 2% Masque has been specially designed to meet the needs of oily and blemish-prone skin. The characteristic grey and white tube contains a formula that relies on the synergy of charcoal and clay. These ingredients are known for their absorbent properties and can help to bind excess sebum and impurities on the skin's surface. A key ingredient in the formula is the eponymous salicylic acid in a concentration of 2%, which has lipophilic properties as beta hydroxy acid (BHA). Through this structure, the product aims to address the appearance of clogged pores and can favour the removal of dead skin cells. Squalane and glycerin are also included to balance the formulation. As products with BHA can increase the skin's sensitivity to light, the use of sun protection is recommended during the application period. The product is vegan and free from alcohol, oil and silicones. To use, apply the mask to cleansed, dry skin once or twice a week and rinse off thoroughly after a maximum application time of ten minutes.

Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly to the face with fingertips.
Do not use on sensitive, flaking or damaged skin.
Avoid the area around the eyes and contact with the eyes both during application and when rinsing.
Do not leave on for longer than ten minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
It is recommended to carry out a patch test before use: Apply the product to a small area of skin once a day for three days according to the instructions to test if you are sensitive to this product.
If you develop irritation, hives, swelling of the eyes and mouth, blistering or difficulty breathing, rinse off the product, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor immediately.
