How to use the Yankee Candle Watercolour Skies

Place the scented candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Make sure that the location is out of reach of children and pets. Before lighting, shorten the wick to a length of 3 to 4 mm. This ensures that the candle burns evenly and practically soot-free. After 2 hours of burning, the top layer of wax is liquid from edge to edge and the candle can be extinguished. The candle should be used for a maximum of 4 hours. Between uses, you can protect the wonderful fragrance of the candle with the lid supplied.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
