The striking design of the flacon immediately catches the eye with its cylindrical shape in blue with silver and black horizontal stripes. Hidden inside is a composition that was developed by Michel Hy for Yves Saint Laurent back in 1971. This classic fragrance falls into the category of floral aldehydic notes and is characterised by a complex interplay of different essences. It opens with fresh accents of bergamot and lemon, accompanied by fruity peach and green tones. Aldehydes and honeysuckle add further facets to this top note. A multi-layered heart of various floral accords then unfolds. Here, geranium, iris and lily of the valley meet magnolia and rose. Ylang-ylang, gardenia and jasmine round off the lush floral bouquet. A solid base of oakmoss and Tahitian vetiver provides the finish. Sandalwood, amber, musk and tonka bean give the eau de toilette spray a gentle and lasting finish. The lively fragrance structure makes Rive Gauche particularly suitable for use in the spring and summer months. The fragrance can remain perceptible on the skin for around six to eight hours.

Perfume, Extrait, Intense and Eau de Toilette are sprayed onto the wrists and inside of the elbows, back of the knees, neck and décolleté from a distance of approx. 30 cm, either as a spray or with an atomiser.

Put a splash on your finger or a cotton bud and dab it on the earlobes, temples, wrists, bends of the knees, décolleté, ankles and inside of the elbows.

Apply drops of oil behind the ears, on the wrists, the ends of the hair or clothing.

Parfum Roll-on is applied to the wrists, neck, décolleté, back of the knees and inside of the elbows.
