As model number 711, the modern Bamboo Foundation Brush is part of the basic range of brushes that the French cosmetics company zao has developed for professional styling. The brush, which sits comfortably in the hand, makes applying liquid make-up such as foundation effortless. The fine handle in bamboo design ends in the white sheathing of the brush bristles, which are black in colour. The amount of foundation can be easily recognised on the black background at all times. The bristles are also thick and wide, so that applying make-up with the tool feels like stroking the skin. The end with the brush bristles is round to prevent the dreaded mask effect when styling.

Then spread the skincare product roughly over the face. To work the make-up in evenly, press the bushy brush lightly onto the skin and turn it back and forth. Always work from the centre of the face outwards. To ensure that there are no edges, you must blend the transitions on the neck, ears and hairline well. If you have reddened areas on your face or dark circles under your eyes, you can also use the foundation brush to gently pat in the foundation.
