Sweed Brushes

Precise and even application of foundation forms the basis for many make-up looks. The Sweed 04 Foundation Brush has been specifically designed to professionally blend both liquid and creamy textures. Handmade in Italy, this brush has a round-shaped head that is particularly densely packed. Ultra-soft, synthetic fibres are used in the manufacturing process, making the product completely vegan. Thanks to the special arrangement of the bristles, the foundation can be worked seamlessly into the skin, which supports a natural finish. Visually, the tool is based on an aesthetic combination: a turquoise-coloured handle with golden logo lettering leads into a shiny, golden ferrule, which encloses the two-tone bristles in white and light brown-pink. Ideally, they should be applied in gentle, downward strokes to follow the natural structure of the face. For care, the synthetic hairs can be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild soap, while air-drying supports the longevity of the material.

To apply the base, take the foundation brush between your thumb and forefinger. Apply the foundation, make-up or powder directly onto the fine hairs of the brush. Then spread the skincare product roughly over the face. To work the make-up in evenly, press the bushy brush lightly onto the skin and turn it back and forth. Always work from the centre of the face outwards. To ensure that there are no edges, you must blend the transitions on the neck, ears and hairline well. If you have reddened areas on your face or dark circles under your eyes, you can also use the foundation brush to gently pat in the foundation.
