As an extension of the Odyssey Collection, Amouage presents Purpose, an eau de parfum that was created under the creative direction of perfumer Quentin Bisch and takes up the theme of human development. The olfactory opening is characterised by a top note of fresh bergamot and allspice berry, which is accompanied by the spicy accents of pink pepper and incense. A heart of rose, sand vetiver, sandalwood and papyrus then unfolds, creating a complex and multi-layered structure. The composition is supported by a solid base of saffron, suede, mystical and Akigalawood. The dark green bottle with its gently rounded corners emphasises the brand's aesthetic direction, while the white, medallion-like logo and gold lettering on the front create a clear contrast. A white cap, decorated with a gemstone-like element and golden rim, harmoniously completes the design. During production, the company relies on a high concentration of 20% pure oils. The fragrance also undergoes a specific production process that includes a one-week maceration and three-week maturation to ensure the stability of the fragrance notes. In terms of content, the creation draws inspiration from the wild landscapes of the Sultanate of Oman.
