This complex fragrance composition is housed in a deep blue glass jar with a detailed silver coat of arms and a dark gemstone on the cap. Pierre Negrin developed a refined variation of the original Interlude fragrance in 2020, which is characterised by a harmonious balance of spicy and woody accords. The opening is fresh thanks to the interplay of bergamot, rosemary and violet leaf. At the centre of the fragrance development is the eponymous iris, which appears here as a precious orris absolute and contributes a powdery note. This floral heart is accompanied by warm amber, myrrh, vanilla and frankincense, giving the eau de parfum a deep, resinous facet. For the base, the Omani house chose a combination of smoky leather, agarwood smoke, sandalwood and cedarwood. This blend ensures a long-lasting finish. An oil concentration of 25 per cent and a six-week maturation period, consisting of maceration and maturation, give the essence its special intensity. The interplay of the ingredients creates an impression full of character, which is particularly effective in the cooler seasons.
