Ideally, you should always apply a lip balm to clean and dry lips. Use the balm in sticks like a lipstick. If the lip balm is in a jar, use your index finger or an applicator to spread it easily. Apply the balm generously to the upper and lower lip. When applying, start with the upper lip and work outwards from the centre. Then do the same with the lower lip.
