CHI Clean Care Clarifying Shampoo

CHI’s CleanCare Clarifying Shampoo thoroughly removes styling residue, sebum and mineral deposits from the hair. At the heart of the formulation are plant-based ingredients such as Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice and Blue Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita) extract, which are complemented by hydrolysed silk proteins. The manufacturer has deliberately chosen not to use sulphates or parabens in this product and also offers a gluten-free formulation. The product has been developed without animal testing, which underlines the brand’s commitment. The packaging also states that 90 per cent of the ingredients are of natural origin. Produced in the USA, the shampoo has a pH value of around 7 and comes in a 355 ml bottle, which is recyclable. Thanks to its cleansing properties, the hair is thoroughly cleansed and prepared for further styling. It is applied in the traditional way to wet hair, working the product into a lather from the roots to the ends before rinsing it out thoroughly.

Deep cleansing shampoos are no different from ordinary shampoos. Firstly, wet your hair thoroughly. Then massage a hazelnut-sized amount of the shampoo into your scalp and hair. Leave the shampoo to work in briefly before rinsing it out thoroughly with clear, lukewarm water. For oily hair, you can use the deep cleansing shampoo once a week; all other hair types require intensive cleansing much less frequently. Monthly use is therefore usually sufficient. After using the shampoo, you can pamper your hair with a conditioner suitable for your hair type.
