The Noble Collection VII Rock Rose by Clive Christian presents itself as a modern interpretation of the classic fougère fragrance, inspired by the gardens of the British nobility in the 18th century. At the centre of this complex composition, which combines up to 202 different ingredients, is the eponymous rock rose, a resinous rock rose that was already highly valued in the age of Queen Anne. The opening is fresh and citrusy with a blend of bergamot, neroli and tarocco orange, accentuated by a spicy note of black pepper. An aromatic bouquet of lavender, violet and clary sage unfolds in the heart, caressing the characteristic rock rose. The olfactory experience is rounded off by a warm, deep base, in which earthy nuances of patchouli and vetiver combine with precious saffron, amber and a hint of cocoa. The striking black bottle with its red accents and golden cap emphasises the masculine yet elegant character of this eau de parfum.
