Like the brand's other curling irons, the VS3 Rod Curling Iron meets the highest demands in terms of fast, safe and uncomplicated hair styling. The curling iron has a conical tip with a diameter of 19 to 25 mm, allowing you to create curls of different sizes in no time at all. It heats up quickly and features HH Simonsen's customary safety switch-off after 90 minutes, which can prevent heat damage to the base.Double is better! Like the other curling irons & hairdryers from HH Simonsen, the VS3 Rod Curling Iron also offers some very useful and professional features. For example, the curling iron is equipped with double ceramic heating elements that ensure even heat distribution when styling hair. Thanks to a long cable that can be rotated 360 degrees on the appliance and a non-slip handle, handling is easy and functional. With this curling iron, you can create sleek, glamorous curls just the way you want them. Even when travelling, as the appliance is suitable for use with 110 or 220 volt power supplies.

Hair styling
Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.
Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.
Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.
Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.
Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
