VARIS Curling tongs

The VARIS Curling Iron is a professional and versatile curling styling system that offers a high degree of flexibility thanks to its modularity. Designed as a 4-in-1 appliance, it combines different styling options with four interchangeable attachments. The set includes a conical curling iron (19-25 mm) for natural waves, a flat oval attachment (19 mm) for defined looks and two classic curling irons with diameters of 25 mm and 32 mm, the latter of which is equipped with a clip. The temperature can be regulated digitally and precisely up to 220 °C using buttons on the ergonomic handle to customise the styling. Hydroionic crystals are incorporated into the cylinders of the attachments, which can help to tame the hair during use. The three metre long cable, which can be rotated through 360°, ensures comfortable handling and allows unrestricted freedom of movement.

Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.

Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.

Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.

Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.

Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
