In an elaborate manufacturing process, the piece goes through up to 35 individual work steps until the end product reaches its final shape. Particularly noteworthy is the refinement of the material to ebonite, which is given its robust properties through vulcanisation. The teeth are sawn by hand, ground by hand and then carefully polished. This precise processing makes the comb absolutely burr-free. Such a smooth surface finish can help to protect the hair structure when combing and prevent tugging. The scalp also benefits from the gently rounded tooth tips, which enable a comfortable glide. The material is also characterised by its high resistance to heat and chemicals. At the same time, the comb remains flexible yet retains its shape. With a length of approx. 17.8 cm (7 inches), the accessory sits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the model is ideal for travelling or uncomplicated storage in a jacket pocket.
