George Sand was the pseudonym of the French writer Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin, born in 1804. She was considered rebellious and feminist and demanded equal rights for all classes and genders. With the 1804 George Sand Eau de Parfum Spray by Histoires de Parfums, master perfumer Gerald Ghislain captures Dupin's strength of character and self-confidence in a fragrance, while not forgetting to emphasise her soft, feminine side. The 1804 George Sand Eau de Parfum Spray from the Characters fragrance line is based on an exotic base that combines powerful oriental patchouli with exciting musk, warm sandalwood and benzoin resin. The heart note is softer: delicate lily of the valley, roses and jasmine meet here, combined with spirited cloves and nutmeg. Freshness is provided by the top note, which contains juicy pineapple and peaches as well as elegant tiare blossoms. A hint of vanilla rounds off the enchanting bouquet.Contents
