Inspired by the house's iconic fashion collection, Issey Miyake Pleats Please is an eau de toilette that embodies optimism and dynamic femininity. The composition by perfumer Aurélien Guichard opens with the juicy freshness of the Asian nashi fruit, a blend of pear and apple, which is underlined by warm ambrette seeds. At the heart of the fragrance, a floral bouquet of delicate peony and sweet pea unfolds, to which the indole molecule lends a special liveliness. The fragrance experience is rounded off by a base of earthy patchouli, soft cedarwood and creamy vanilla, accompanied by white musk accords. This combination creates a floral-fruity character with a slightly woody and powdery depth. The flacon itself is a work of art, with its many edges reminiscent of the pleats that give it its name and an uncut gemstone.
