Before using the razor, the face is washed with warm water. This opens the pores and the beard hairs protrude. After lathering up, the razor is used. The razor is held between the index and middle fingers and guided over the skin at an angle of around 30 degrees. Shave properly in short strokes, without applying any pressure.
