Klar soaps are a household name for people who love the genuine and special. These soaps are made on a natural basis. Master soap maker Philipp Klar opened his craft business in Heidelberg back in 1840. He had previously acquired all his knowledge, skills and experience while travelling. His journey had taken him as far as St Petersburg. The tradition of soap boiling continues in the Klar family to this day. Following in the footsteps of their father, but with many new innovative products, the sons Hans, Klaus and Theobald continued the business after the Second World War. Around the beginning of the 1970s, Klaus and Theo, Hans Klar's sons, took over the soap company. In 2020, Germany's oldest soap manufactory in Heidelberg is still producing high-quality bars of soap for cleansing on a palm oil-free basis. Many of the Klar soaps are vegan.

One of the wonderful Klar soaps for daily cleansing is Rosemary soap. Its Mediterranean scent is reminiscent of the south, sunshine and holidays by the sea. The spicy essential oil revitalises the senses and awakens tired spirits. The soaps with the Mediterranean fragrance are made on the basis of pure vegetable oils from controlled organic cultivation.
