Traditional Japanese kabuki art serves as inspiration for the design of the Mie Face Brush from NARS. This brush has a luxurious, double-curved brush head that has been specially developed for applying make-up over large areas and in detail. Both loose and pressed powder can be applied gently and evenly to the face. A special feature is the hand-wound, black handle, which is pleasant to the touch thanks to its coiled structure and enables controlled guidance. The tapered, conical shape allows contours to be defined or highlights to be placed precisely on specific parts of the face. At the same time, the soft, tightly bound bristles support seamless blending of transitions, avoiding hard edges. The fibres reliably absorb pigments and release them again in doses, allowing for variable coverage. The overall appearance is kept in elegant black, which emphasises the professional and timeless character of the tool and places functionality in the foreground.
