The Oud Imperial Extrait de Parfum by Perris Monte Carlo is characterised by a particularly high concentration of precious essences. In direct comparison to the classic eau de parfum version, the proportion of natural agarwood has been doubled here, giving the fragrance a remarkable depth and increased intensity. The composition created by Luca Maffei opens with subtle, smoky facets that blend harmoniously with spicy accents. At the centre of the olfactory experience is the characterful oud, which is complemented by complex notes of incense, patchouli, jasmine and saffron. This blend creates a woody yet leathery character. A warm base is provided by elements such as sandalwood, cedarwood, vetiver, birch and labdanum, which round off the fragrance in a soft and earthy way. Despite the power of the ingredients, the extrait often has a finer and more polished effect than lighter concentrations. Visually, the rectangular glass bottle with the golden liquid and the ornately patterned golden cap emphasises the brand's claim, with the decorative pattern also appearing on the lower front of the bottle.
