Mud masks are available in different versions for dry, normal and oily skin. Once you have chosen the ideal mask for your skin type, applying it is child's play. Ideally, you should heat the mud mask to a temperature of 45 to 50 degrees so that the active ingredients can be absorbed particularly deeply into the skin. However, many of the masks can also be used at room temperature and still ensure optimum results. Apply an even layer of the product to the skin of the face. Depending on the product selected, the mud mask should be left on for between 30 and 60 minutes. Once the mask has dried, wash it off thoroughly with clean water and treat your skin to a rich facial moisturiser.
