With a special formula that combines the optical properties of a lip gloss with the coverage of a lipstick, TheBalmJour Creamy Lip Stain is a versatile cosmetic product. Developed for users who value flexibility and comfort, this stain utilises an advanced polymer blend to create a glossy, dewy finish that still adheres firmly to the lips. The creamy consistency allows for a smooth application, which then develops into a long-lasting stain. Visually, the product impresses with theBalm's typical retro aesthetic, which is picked up on the 6.5 ml packaging with illustrations and lettering such as "Stain & Shine". The colour palette includes various shades whose names, such as Salut, Hola! or Konnichiwa, are based on international greetings. With regard to the ingredients, additives such as gluten, nickel, coconut, lanolin and preservatives were deliberately avoided during production. A precise applicator is integrated into the cap and makes it easier to apply the highly pigmented colour, which can add definition to the lips.

    Lip gloss is available in different versions as a tube, jar, twist stick or bottle with applicator. Application may vary slightly depending on the product selected. Lip gloss in a bottle can be easily applied to the lips using the applicator. To remove the gloss from the bottle, you should stir the applicator, not pump it. Then wipe the applicator on the inside of the bottle. Place it in the centre of the upper lip and guide it outwards with light pressure. Repeat the process on the lower lip. After application, rub the lips together briefly. If any excess gloss sticks out over the lip contour, remove it with a tissue.
