The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane

100% Plant-Derived Squalane is an innovative skincare product from The Ordinary. It is a serum that intensively moisturises your skin and at the same time strengthens the natural moisture barrier. This is achieved primarily thanks to the squalane it contains - a moisturiser that occurs naturally in the skin. For its serums, The Ordinary uses squalane, which is 100 per cent plant-based and derived from sugar cane. Good to know: The formulation is non-comedogenic and therefore also suitable for skin types that are prone to blemishes.

Serums for skin, hair and scalp

The 100% Plant-Derived Squalane Serum is also suitable for care of hair and scalp. It gives the hair new shine, reduces hair breakage and can act as heat protection. The scalp also benefits from the highly hydrating effect of the skin care product, as squalane helps to strengthen the skin's hydrolipidic film and retain moisture for longer. At the same time, your hair is nourished, smooth and easier to comb. Apply the serum to cleansed facial skin in the morning and evening or apply a few drops to the scalp or hair lengths. Alternatively, you can mix the skin care product with your shampoo or conditioner.
