In this advanced formula, The Ordinary combines eight different technologies that work together synergistically. For example, it contains ascorbyl glucoside as a stabilised vitamin C variant as well as EGCG and ginseng extract. Peptides such as acetyl tetrapeptide-2 and heptapeptide-6 can also be found in the list of ingredients. The complex is supplemented by ergothioneine and tocotrienols, which act as a source of vitamin E. The formula utilises Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp extract to support the moisture content. This polysaccharide can bind water and is similar to hyaluronic acid in its moisturising properties. Regular use can result in a more vitalised and radiant-looking complexion. The watery base deliberately avoids alcohol, silicones, oils and fragrances, which keeps the formulation pure. Thanks to its light texture, the product is easy to apply. To protect the light-sensitive ingredients, the serum is supplied in special UV protection packaging made of amber glass. It can be used both in the morning and evening, avoiding the eye area.
