With the Yankee Candle votive candle in a jar called Lakefront Lodge, you choose the perfect combination of woody fragrance and flickering candlelight. In the top note, aromas of mandarin, aldehyde and ozone accord blend in perfect harmony. The combination of cedar wood, fir balsam and pine needles evokes thoughts of unfathomable forests. In the base note, tonka, labdanum and cedar wood provide the cosy grounding of the fragrance experience.

The glass not only provides added aesthetic value. It also acts as a safety device. Nevertheless, a person should always be present when the candle is burning. The burning behaviour is very regular thanks to the natural wick and soft soy wax. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
