Tips for safe use of the Yankee Candle Midnight Jasmine
The votive candle in a jar should be placed on a heat-resistant and stable surface. When positioning it, make sure that there are no flammable materials in the immediate vicinity. It should also be out of reach of children and pets. The wick is shortened to a length of 3 to 5 mm before lighting. To prevent tunnelling, leave the candle to burn at least until the top layer of wax is liquid from edge to edge.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
