The Yankee Candle Lakefront Lodge scented candle in a tumbler from the Signature series is equipped with a plastic lid that protects the fragrance from being lost between uses. Made from a high-quality soy wax blend and a natural fibre wick, the candle offers good burning properties and a long burning time. Tips for the safe use of the Yankee Candle Lakefront Lodge scented candle
Only place the tumbler on stable, heat-resistant surfaces. The location should also be out of reach of children and pets. The wick is shortened to a length of 3 to 5 mm before the first use to limit soot formation. The candle should burn for at least 2 hours each time it is used so that the top layer of wax can completely liquefy. This is the only way to prevent tunnelling in the wax. The enclosed plastic lid can be used to close the candle when not in use for longer periods.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
