The Rise Hot Brush from ghd puts an end to flat hair. If your look calls for more volume, this is the styling tool for you. Easily conjure up double the volume in your hair that lasts all day. To achieve the best possible root lift effect, ghd Rise Hot Brush hairbrushes utilise a combination of 5mm nylon bristles and SMART Ultra-Zone technology. The sensor integrated into the 32mm barrel ensures that the brush always maintains the optimum styling temperature of 185 degrees Celsius. This gives you fullness and bounce even without extreme heat. The smooth 5 mm bristles are designed to get as close as possible to the roots to create the desired volume effect - but without touching the scalp.

The ghd Rise Hot Brush hairbrushes are suitable for all hair types and lengths. Decide for yourself with every style whether you want to create elegant waves or curls full of bounce. A 2.7 metre long, movable cable is integrated for extra user-friendliness and easier handling. The styling tool has a warm-up time of 25 seconds. After 30 minutes without use, the brush also switches off automatically and goes into sleep mode.

Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.

Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.

Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.

Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.

Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
