ghd Curling irons

Shape defined, tight curls with precision using the ghd curve® thin wand. This professional curling wand features a 14mm thin wand specifically designed for detailed styling and textured looks. Thanks to the advanced PTC heating technology, the optimum styling temperature of 185°C is constantly maintained throughout the wand, which can be gentle on the hair structure. The long, ceramic-coated heating rod provides even heat distribution and its special grip makes it easier to wrap the strands, even with longer hair. The appliance is ready for use after approx. 30 seconds, enabling quick results. The professional, 2.7 m long cable with 360° swivel joint ensures comfortable and flexible handling, while the cool tip provides a cool holding point for more control during styling. An integrated safety stand makes it easy to place the appliance on solid surfaces. If the wand is forgotten, sleep mode is automatically activated after 60 minutes of non-use for safety. Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.

Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.

Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.

Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.

Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
