Use
First moisten the skin on the face with a shaving brush. Use lukewarm water. Then apply the shaving cream from the jar, tube or dispenser directly to the shaving brush. A hazelnut-sized amount is perfectly sufficient. The skin areas to be shaved are rubbed in with the brush in a circular motion. This creates a soft lather that remains on the skin. Circling the brush raises the beard hairs and holds them in place with the lather. Now use your wet razor or straight razor. You can lather individual areas again. After shaving, wash off the remaining lather with plenty of clean water.
