The fashion company was founded on 1 November 1993 by Wolfgang Jassner, a business economist and multi-partner, and Klaus Jungnickel near Chemnitz. Unusual product tests and marketing ideas helped the company to success. With its swimwear brand and fashion themes such as "Everything to do with underwear", the fashion company achieved international popularity and success. Initially, 15 seamstresses produced designer underwear for men until the company moved to Chemnitz in 1999.
