A pre-shave is the perfect care product to prepare for shaving. Before applying an oil, cream, lotion or water, the facial skin is thoroughly cleansed. Particularly when shaving wet, the hairs are absorbed as soon as the product is applied and are then easier to shave. Skin irritation is avoided and there are fewer injuries from the sharp blades. Ideally, you should apply a pre-shave for dry shaving against the direction of beard hair growth. This straightens the beard hairs and removes liquids. The electric shaver then glides over the skin with almost no resistance. An aftershave is of course used after wet or dry shaving.
