For a wet shave, the face should ideally be prepared with shaving soap or shaving foam. Guide a safety razor or razor holder over the skin and hold it taut with the other hand.

The same also applies when using a razor, where you also need to run it over the skin at a particularly flat angle. Make sure that the first shave is carried out in the direction of hair growth, the second can be carried out against or to the side of the direction of growth.

Electric shavers, on the other hand, allow you to perform different shaves or haircuts at the touch of a button. You don't need to make any major preparations, simply run the switched-on shaver over your face.
