The coating on the VS10 Rod Curling Iron with Touch Handle also gives your hair an intense shine and prevents frizz. Thanks to the cold tip, it is easy to handle, just like the other curling irons in the range.

Hairstyling for professional demands with HH Simonsen

Unlike most curling irons, the VS10 Rod Curling Iron has a wavy barrel. This allows you to create natural and lively-looking curls. The HH Simonsen appliance is also equipped with a 3 metre long cable, which gives you plenty of freedom of movement when working on your hair. Thanks to the universal power supply, the tool can be used worldwide and therefore also when travelling. A heat protection bag and a heat protection glove are included in the scope of delivery.

Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.

Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.

Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.

Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.

Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
