The Hair and Body Shower Gel Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès is skincare for the most discerning skin. The product is far more than a shampoo and shower gel, it is - as Hermès itself aptly puts it - "another way of wearing fragrance".
Created in 2005 by star perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, the fragrance and the original green bottle are a homage to green mangoes, the scent of which inspired Ellena during a holiday on the Nile.
The Eau de Toilette, on which the Hair and Body Shower Gel is based, was launched as a unisex fragrance. It was well received in the upmarket US press, including the New Yorker and the New York Times.
