THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
With warm, woody accents, Terre d'Hermès Parfum combines enveloping cedar and sparkling grapefruit with a lively, fresh note of shiso.
THE OBJECT
At the bottom, an H is emblazoned in bright orange - matching the stronger colour of the perfume - symbolising anchoring in the earth. At the top, the light is reflected by the metal on the shoulders of the bottle.
On closer inspection, the Terre d'Hermès Parfum bottle reveals numerous details, such as the iconic "Clou de selle" saddle nail and the sliding cap that releases the spray button, etc.
It was created by designer Philippe Mouquet and is modelled on the flacon of a travel accessory kept in the Émile Hermès Museum.
