The Finishing Brush from Laura Mercier is characterised by its sophisticated duo-fibre head, which has been specially designed for the final touches to make-up. Synthetic bristles in different lengths work together precisely in this tool to support a professional result. While the shorter fibres reliably pick up and release powder particles, the longer hairs ensure gentle and even distribution on the skin. This specific design allows for variable coverage, ranging from sheer to buildable, depending on your preference. Both loose and pressed powder can be applied effortlessly with this accessory. The fine gradation of the bristles allows the texture to be worked into the complexion, which favours a particularly even and soft finish. Visually, the tool stands out with its black, shiny handle, which sits comfortably in the hand and bears the characteristic white brand lettering. The shape of the brush head is also ideal for larger-area applications on the neck and décolleté. The hard-wearing synthetic fibres are also easy to care for as they can be cleaned with mild shampoo and warm water.

Hold the brush between your thumb and middle finger when applying make-up, approximately in the centre of the handle, but a little closer to the brush head. Use your index finger for additional control. To smudge and diffuse, grip the brush at the end of the handle and hold it loosely in your hand.
Clean your brushes with mild shampoo and a little water if necessary. Then rinse them thoroughly under clear water. If you are using Laura's Brush Cleanser, dip them in or spray on the cleanser and remove the make-up with a paper towel. Make sure you always pick up the products in the direction of the fibres and return the bristles to their original state last so that they retain their shape - never twist, spiral or wipe against a hard surface. Lay them flat to dry, do not stand them up, and transport them separately to protect them when travelling.
