The Manic Panic shade Dark Star from the High Voltage Classic line gives your hair a deep, slightly violet-grey hair colour. To achieve the best results, you should lighten your hair to a level 10 blonde or lighter beforehand using the Flash Lightning Bleach Kit from Manic Panic. However, the hair tint can be used in a variety of ways. You can mix it with other shades to colour the hair darker or use Dark Star as a background shade for a stylish prismatic rainbow hair effect. As the grey shade contains less pigment than the manufacturer's vibrant colours, it does not have the normal durability of 4 to 6 weeks. As a rule, it fades more quickly. In addition to the attractive colour tone, the hair colour gives your hair silky smoothness and a healthy shine.

Hair colouring
Before applying a hair tint, moisten your hair and then lightly towel-dry it. Then put on the gloves that come with the tint and apply the paste to your fingers. The hair colour is then worked in from the roots to the ends. You can spread the colour through your hair with your fingers or with a comb. The result is more even if the colour is distributed with a comb. The colour remains in the hair for around 20 to 30 minutes to achieve the desired result. The hair is then rinsed until clear water can be seen. After tinting, the hair is not washed for 24 to 48 hours.
