Base Extra is the building base coat for UV manicures. Its special formula allows the nail plate to be strengthened and extended by up to ten millimetres. It ensures an even surface and optimally prepares the nail for the colour coat.
The base cures reliably under LED and UV lamps and creates a firm, durable foundation for manicures and pedicures. Thanks to its flexible texture, it is easy to apply, evens out unevenness and gives the nails a smooth, well-groomed finish.

Step by Step:
Step 1: Shape the nails using a 100/180-grit file. Then carefully remove the cuticles with a rosewood stick by gently pushing them back.
Step 2: Next, matt the nail surface using a polishing file or buffer. Remove any nail dust with a lint-free pad soaked in cleaner. If necessary, a thin layer of primer can be applied to degrease the nails.
Step 3: Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure it under a UV/LED lamp according to the table. Do not clean the nails afterwards.
Step 4: Apply a thin layer of UV nail varnish and cure it under the UV/LED lamp as per the table. Repeat the process with a second thin layer. The nails are not cleaned in this step either.
Step 5: Now seal the UV manicure with a top coat and cure it under the UV/LED lamp as per the table.
Note: Once the UV nail varnish has cured, depending on the top coat used, it may be necessary to remove the tacky layer with a lint-free pad soaked in cleaner.
Step 6: For additional care, nail oil should be used daily.
