Yankee Candle Glass votive candles Cucumber Mint Cooler

Citric facets of lemon, orange and grapefruit open this complex fragrance experience and harmoniously combine with the clear coolness of eucalyptus and spearmint. This invigorating top note leads to a heart that combines the crisp freshness of cucumber with the soft, floral nuances of jasmine. The composition is rounded off by a persistent base of white musk and sloe, which lends the arrangement a pleasant depth. The light green wax consists of a high-quality soya wax blend designed to burn evenly. The candle is encased in a decorative glass, the design of which evokes summery associations with detailed illustrations of mint leaves, cucumber slices and a drinks bottle. A transparent lid protects the wick and wax from dust, while the compact 37 g format is ideal for trying out new nuances. The burning time of this votive glass is between 7 and 10 hours, filling the room with the characteristic aroma over a longer period of time.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
